ORDINANCE NO. 79-10-1798
11.1. AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES FORD AND
HONDA FOR' SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE F-160' PICKUP TRUCK FOR USE BY THE
MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT, FOR THE SUM OF $4,725.00 LESS TRADE=IN OF ONE
1963 DODGE PICKUP, MAKING A NET OF $4,625.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE -CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH �PURCHASk
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH; KENTUCKY:
SECTION I. ' ' That the City' of Paducah accept the bid of Allah Rhodes Ford
and Honda for sale to the City of One F-100 pickup truck for use by the Maintenance
Department, for the sum of $4,725:00 less trade-in of one 1963 Dodge pickup, mak-
ing a net of $4,625.00; said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid speci-
fications and . advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the
Board of Commissioners' on September 11, 1979, and as contained 'in the bid of Allan
Rhodes- Ford and -Honda,- dated September 20, 1979.
SECTION 2. - That the'• City' Manager "be, and he is hereby, authorized' to
execute a contract with Allan Rhodes Ford and Honda for sale to the City of the
truck authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal
and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said Truck shall be charged to
General Fund Account No. 1814.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put
upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10)
days thereafter.
