ORDINANCE NO. 79-9-1795
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MANNING EQUIPMENT, INC. FOR
SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE MYERS MODEL MVM15 VACMASTER SEWER VACUUM TRUCK
FOR USE BY THE STREET DEPARTMENT, FOR THE SUM OF $48,662.00, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Manning Equip-
ment, Inc. for sale to the Street Department of one Myers Model MVM15 VacMaster
Sewer Vacuum Truck, for the sum of $48,662.00; said bid being in substantial com-
pliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by
resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on July 24, 1979, and as contained
in the bid of Manning Equipment, Inc . , dated August 10, 1979.
SECTT'ON 2. That the City* Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Manning Equipment, Inc., for sale to the City of the sewer
vacuum truck'authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid pro -
poral and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said sewer vacuum truck shall be
charged' io Federal Revenue Sharing Account No . 3414.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon
its final passage, and if -ad opted 'shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days there-
after.
