AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF HALLENBERGER, INC. FOR
SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF ONE S'KYWORKER BUCKET TRUCK FOR USE
BY THE MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT; FOR THE SUM OF $23,374.00 LESS $4,007.00
FOR TRADE-IN OF A 1963.CHEVROLET UTILITY AND AERIAL LIFT TRUCK, MAKING
A NET COST OF $19,367.00:, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT -FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY .:THE BOARD "OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE -CITY OF
PADUCAH,-KENTUCKY:
- SECTION 1. That the City of -Paducah accept the bid of Hallenberger, Inc.
for sale to the City of Paducah of one Skyworker bucket truck for use by the
Maintenance Department, for the sum of $23,374.0`0 less $4;007.00 for trade-in of
a 1963 Chevrolet Utility. and Aerial lift truck, making a: net cost of $19,367.00;
said. bid -being- in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertise-
ment for bids `as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board' of Commissioners
on May 8, 1979, and as contained in the bid of Hallenberger, , Inc . , dated
August 20, 1979.
SECTION 2. That the, City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to�- execute a contract- with Hallenberger, -Inc., for sale to the 'City of ' the equipment
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications ,• . bid proposal and
all contract documents heretofore approved " and incorporated -in the -bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase -price for said bucket truck -shall be charged
to General: Fund Account No . 1814.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for -bhe week- fdr public inspection in the -completed form in which it shall be
put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in fullforce ' and effect ten (10)
days thereafter.
