AN ' ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL ' OF ALLEN, BARNETT AND
KLEET, CERTIFIED 'PUBLI`C ACCOUNTANTS-$ FOR'AUDITING THE ACCOUNTS OF THE
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT -BLOCK 7GRANT PROGRAM FOR THE SUN! OF $2,500.00
PLUS AN` ADDITIONAL -SUM OF $800.0VTOR, THE "SMALL CITIES GRANT; MAKING -A
TOTAL SUM OF $3,300.00,' COVERING THE PERIOD OF SEPTEMBER -l', 1978 -THROUGH
AUGUST '31; 1979` -
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH; KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.. - That the City of Paducah accept the proposal of Al -len ;,Bar
nett and Kleet, Certified' Publie Accountants, to audit the accounts'of the Community
Development Block Grant Program; for the sum- of $2,500.00 plus an additional sum of
$800.00 for the Small Cities Grant, -making a total sum of $3,300.00 covering-- the
period of -September 1, 1978 through August 31, `1979; said proposal --=being in
accordance with the terms 'and conditions set forth in the letter `of Allen, Barnett
and Kleet, Certified Public Accountants, to Mr. Randell E. Grief, Director, Com-
munity Development; dated'August 2, 1979.
SECTION 2. The compensation for ' such-. audit shall be based upon- the
standard "fees _of Certified Public Accountants, and -shall be paid, from Comm -unity
Development Block Grant Funds-.-
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for one
week forpublic inspection. in the completed form in which it'shall be'put upon its
final passage, and if adopted shall be in 1 ll force: •and effect ten (10)- days there-
after. u
