ORDINANCE NO. 79-9-1787
AN "ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES FORD AND
HONDA FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE 1980 FORD LTD FOUR DOOR SEDAN,
TO BE USED BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, FOR- THE `-SUM OF $6,28900f LESS TRADE=
IN OF A 1973 FORD, -FOR A NET COST OF $5,889.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER ' TO 'EXECUTE A- CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH , -:KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan - Rhoden
Ford and Honda, for sale to the City of one 1980 -.Ford LTD 4 -door sedan, to be
used by the' Paducah Fire Department-, for the sum of $6,289.00 less $400.00 for
trade=in of a'1,973 Ford, making a net price of $5,8891:00 said bid being in
substantital' compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as
was authorized by resolution passed by'the Board of- Commissioners on August 14,
1979, and as contained -in the bid of Allan Rhodes^ Ford and Honda, dated
August 17, 1979. _
SECTION 2. That the City Manager—be,' and he.` is hereby, --authorized
to execute a• contract with-: Allari'~Rhodes Ford and Honda for sale to the City of
the
1980 -Ford LTD ".authorized
in Section
1 above,
according to the specifications,
bid
proposal and all contract
documents
heretofore
approved' andincorporated in
the bid.
SECTION= 3:. -The purchase price for: said automobile shrall--be:-.charged
to Federal Revenue' Sharing!Account -.No-. 2214.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be
put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten
(10) days thereafter.
