ORDINANCE NO 79-7-1763
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY
TREASURER TO PURCHASE VARIOUS PARCELS OF REAL ESTATE TO BE USED BY THE
CITY IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF A PUBLIC WORKS GARAGE
WHEREAS, ` the City -of ' Pa:ducah; has acquired options to purchase 'various
parcels of real estate which are, td be used °in the- construction .of a Public. Works
Garage, and
.WHEREAS:; the City ofPaducah ?does now desire to execute its :" right to pur-
chase said -.parcels for" the' option.,price.
NOW, - THEREFORE BE "IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF� COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF "PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1 , That `the following described'' property at 1009-13 and 1019-21
North Ninth Street be purchased,-; from Phillip Gr.eenwell� for'. the sum of $T,600.00:
TRACT I
Being Lot 1:16 and-,- part of Lots- 11'5 and -117, in Block 31, -Addition-

Addition:"F", of the Harris, Flournoy, Trimble and Norton Addition; -begin-
ning at a point in the south right of way line of North 9th Street
1-84. feet from the soixtheast- right :of way line of :9th Street 'and-:
Burnett Street; thence in an easterly direction with the south
right` of way -line of 19th Street" a -distance of .10T feet, to: a point
thence in a southerly direction and parallel with Burnett Street

Street be purchased from Fredick B. Jackson, for the sum of $1,500.00:
Being a part of Block 41, Addition "F" of the Harris, Flournoy,
Trimble and Norton Addition: beginning at a point in the north
right of way line of North 10th Street 190 feet from the west right of
way line of Burnett Street; thence in a westerly direction with the
north right of way line of 10th Street a distance of 30 feet to a
point; thence in a northerly direction and parallel with Burnett
Street a distance of 150 feet to a point in the south right of way
line of a 10 foot alley; thence in an easterly direction with the
south right of way line of said 10 foot alley a distance of 30 feet
to a point; thence in a southerly direction and parallel with
Burnett Street a distance of 150 feet to the .point of beginning.

Street between Burnett and Flournoy Streets be purchased from the Illinois Central
Gulf Railroad Company for the sum of $10,000.00:
