AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ,BID OF.G & M CARPET, DISTRIBUTORS
FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF APPROXIMATELY - 354 SQUARE- YARDS OFCARPETINGTO
BE. USED IN..THE, CITY, HALL ANNEX, FOR. THE. SUM, OF $2,9019.,9.0, AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH YURCINASE.,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE .CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the
City of Paducah,
accept the bid of 0 & M
Carpet
Distributors for sale to
the City
of approximately
354 square yards of- fire
rated foam
backed carpet to be used in the. City Hall Annex., for the sum of $2,909. 00 which -sum
includes carpet, vinyl around doors, and installation; said bid being in substantial
compliance with the bid quotation received from G & M Carpet Distributors dated
June 6, 1979.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized,to
execute a
contract with
G & M
Carpet Distributors for sale, o

according.jo the specifications
and bid quotations
heretofore approved and - incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for. said carpet shall be charged to
Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 90941.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and .remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put
upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10)
days thereafter.
