ORDINANCE NO. 79-6-1754
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUB SECTION (a) (2) OF SECTION 2-159,
RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS OF ARTICLE VIII, DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING
AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Sub -Section (a) (2) of Section 2-159, Responsibilities
and Functions of Article VIII, Department of Planning and Community Development
of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be, and it is hereby,
amended. and reordained so; that -said sub -section as amended and reordained shall
hereafter read as follows:
"See. 2-159. Responsibilities and functions.
(a) The department of planning and community development shall have
responsibility for:
(1) Coordination of the City's workable overall community development
program;
(2) Coordination and administration of federally assisted projects per-
taining to planning, community development and housing;
(3) Such other- -duties , functions and responsibilities as may be later
delegated by the city manager".
SECTION 2. This ordinance amends Sub -section 2-159(a)(2) of Ordinance
No. 77-12-1508, adopted,by the Board of Commissioners on December 13, 1977.
SECTION 3 This -ordinance shall be -in full force and effect -as of
July 2, 1979.
