ORDINANCE NO. 79-6-1752
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING. THE BID OF ' IBM " CORPORATION FOR THE
PURCHASE OF COMPUTER: HARDWARE, SOFTWARE AND` NECESSARY SYSTEM SUPPORT
SERVICES ; FOR THE "SUM, OF' $38', 500.00", AND AUTHORIZING THE' CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE -
- BE IT ORDAINED BY THE --BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE' CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
-SECTION- 1. 'That -the City -of Paducah-, accept the bid of IBM Corporation
for the purchase of Computer Hardware, Software and necessary system 'support
services, for, the sum -`of 08,-9-500.-00, -said bid being in `substantial"compliance with
the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by. resolution '"
passed by the Board :of Commissioners February 13, 1979, and as. contained in the
bid of IBM " Corporation, dated March, 9, 1979.:
SECTION 2. That the "City, Manager -;be; .and he s"hereby., authorized' to
execute a contract - with IBM - Corporation- for the- purchase of the Computer ' authorized
in Section 1 above, according to the `specifications , bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore - ` approved and incorporated: in the bid .
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said Computer shall 'be -charged
to General Fund Account No. .12.65.
SECTION. °4- This ordinance shall --be introduced :and remain on file for
one .week for -public inspection in the coMpl<ete& form- in which it shall be --put upon
its final passage i and' -if adopted shall be .11 in :full: .force and effect ten -(10) days
thereafter .- -
