ORDINANCE NO. 79-6-1749
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF RIGHT OF WAY BY THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, TO THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY FOR THE USE
AND BENEFIT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION IN, CONSTRUCTION OF THE
RIVERFRONT ACCESS. ROAD, SP .73-6577-9R3- .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY .OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That for and in consideration of the sum of $300.00 the City
of Paducah, Kentucky,. does hereby, authorize the sale to the Commonwealth of Kentucky
for the use and benefit of the Department of Transportation, a parcel of land lying
and being in McCracken County, Kentucky and being a portion of the same tract of
land conveyed to the party of the first part by Mrs. Cloyce Norsworthy et al by
deed bearing date of 1st day of December, 1955, which is duly recorded in deed
book No. 370 at page 195 in the office of the County Court Clerk of . McCracken
County, Kentucky, said parcel being described. as follows:
Beginning. at a point in ,.the grantors northeast property corner
and the existing right of way line 'of South Third Street, said
point also being 34.5 feet right of Riverfront Access Road Station
180+15.77; thence S 29 degrees 37 minutes 27 seconds E, 39.57
feet to a point in the grantors southeast property corner and
existing South Third Street right of way,- said point being 34.5
feet right of Riverfront Access Road Station 180+55.34; thence
S 60 degrees 22 minutes 33 seconds W, 5.0 feet to a point in
the So. property line 39.5 feet right of Riverfront Access Road
Station 180+55.34; thence N 29 degrees 37 minutes 27 seconds
W, 39.57 feet to a point in the grantors No. property line 39.5
feet right of Riverfront Access Road Station 180+15.77; thence N
60 degrees 22 minutes 33 seconds E, 5.0 feet to the point of
beginning.
The above described Parcel 61 contains 198 s . f .
It is the specific intent of the grantors herein to convey a con-
struction easement to the property described above and designated
as Parcel 61 for the purpose of backslope construction and said
easement terminates and reverts upon completion of same.
The acquisition of right of way for this project was authorized
by the Kentucky Bureau of Highways Official Order No. 82967.
The control of access on this project shall be by permit as re-
quired and set forth in Sec. 5 of the Ky. . Administrative Re-
gulations (603 KAR 5: 010) .
The proposed public road extends from 3rd, 4th and Monroe to
3rd and Elizabeth.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed
to enter into a deed of conveyance for the aforesaid purpose.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed -form in which it shall be
put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall -be in full force and effect.. ten (10)
days thereafter.
