AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF JIMAR PAVING COMPANY FOR
RESURFACING VARIOUS STREETS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A, CONTRACT FOR SUCH SERVICES
BE IT ORDAINED BY, THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: -_ i
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Jimar Paving Company
for resurfacing various streets in .the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for the following
prices:
Bituminous Concrete, Class I, -Type A.
Bituminous Primer Coat (Primer L)
Bituminous Tack Coat (SS - 1H)
Base Construction (DGA)
Shoulder Construction (DGA)
Manhole,, Adjustment

said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement
for bids as was authorized .by resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on
May 8, 1979, and as contained in the bid of Jimar Paving Company, dated May 18, 1979.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Jimar Paving Company for the- service authorized in Section 1
above, according. to the specifications, bid proposal.: and all contract. documents hereto-
fore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for- said services shall be charged to
either General Fund of Federal Revenue Sharing, Fund Account No. 3454.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon
its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days
thereafter.
