AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH PADUCAH AREA TRANSIT SYSTEM FOR
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a
contract with Paducah Area Transit System in the amount of $250,000.00, to be paid in
equal quarterly allocations of $62,500.00, for public transportation services for the
Paducah/McCracken County area. This contract shall expire June 30, 2010.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to the PATS account.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
