AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A GRANT AGREEMENT AND ALL DOCUMENTS RELATING THERETO
WITH THE KENTUCKY JUSTICE AND PUBLIC SAFETY CABINET FOR A 2009/2010
LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICE FEE GRANT AWARD
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah applied for a Law Enforcement Service Fee
Grant Award adopted by Municipal Order No. 1451 on April 28, 2009, for DUI enforcement; and
WHEREAS, the Kentucky Justice and Public Safety Cabinet has approved the
application and is now ready to award this grant.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a Grant
Agreement and all documents relating thereto with the Kentucky Justice and Public Safety
Cabinet, in the amount of $13,045.00 for DUI enforcement. This program does not require any
local cash or in-kind match.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
