ORDINANCE NO. 79-5-1726
AN ORDINANCE DELETING SECTIONS 25-3.2, 25-3.3 AND 25-4.20 THROUGH
25-8 AND AMENDING SECTION 25-4 OF CHAPTER 25 OF THE -CODE OF -ORDINANCES'
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH , KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE` BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 25-4, "Manual of procedure -for department
adopted", of Chapter 25 of the Code of Ordinances 'of the City of Paducah, Kentucky
be amended and reordained so that said section as :amended and reordained shall
hereafter read as follows:
"Section 25-4. Manuals of department adopted.
The following , manuals of the Police Department of Paducah -9 Kentucky, copies
of which have been: placed on file with the City: Clerk, shall be a part of this Code
to the same extent as if copied herein at length:
(1) Manual of,, Procedure- of the Police Department of _the" City of Paducah,
Kentucky, compiled and presented May 16, 1967, as amended by
Ordinance Nos. 68-1-1, 68-5-563, 69-2-178 and 72-3-296;
(2) Manual of Rules, Regulations and Duties for the Paducah, Kentucky
Police Departments compiled in December, 1964, by Keith Yancy,
Assistant Chief of said department; and
(3) Police Instruction Manual of the Police Department of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky-, completed December 15, 1964 by Keith Yancy,
Assistant Chief of said department.
Amendments to the foregoing manuals adopted by the Board of Commissioners
shall be placed on file with the City Clerk and shall be a part of this Code to the
same extent as if copied herein at length, and shall not be considered to be of
such nature as to be fully published in this Code".
SECTION 2. That the following Sections of Chapter 25 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, shall be deleted in their entirety
from the Code of Ordinances: Section 25-3.2, "Criminalistics Coordinator"; Section
25-3.3, "Evidence Collectors"; Section 25-4.10, "Section 6.1 of Manual of Procedure
Amended"; Section 25-4.11, "Section 7.1 of Manual of Procedure Amended"; Section
25-4.12 Reserved; Section 25-4.13, "Sections 9.1, 9.2 and 9.4 of Manual of Pro-
cedure Amended", and Section 25-5, "Section 12.1 of Manual of Procedure Amended".
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption.
