HomeMy WebLinkAbout79-5-1725RM ORDINANCE O NO. 79-5-1725 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 79-3-1709, "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH KENTUCKY MACHINERY, INC. TO MAKE THE NECESSARY REPAIRS ON THE HD16M LANDFILL TRACTOR, FOR AN ESTIMATED COST OF $5,000" WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 79-3-1709, authorized the payment of $5,000.00 for emergency repairs to the HD16M Landfill Tractor, and WHEREAS, the actual repairs cost the sum of $8,000.00, and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners desires to amend the ordinance to reflect the correct amount of such repairs. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH , KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Kentucky Machinery, Inc., for the necessary repairs to the HD16M Landfill Tractor, for a cost of $8,000.00. SECTION 2. The purchase price for said repairs shall be charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3514. SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one week in the completed form, in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
