AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF A. B. DICK PRODUCTS FOR SALE
TO THE CITY OF AN A. B. DICK MODEL 350 RECONDITIONED OFFSET PRESS FOR THE
SUM OF $3,800, LESS TRADE IN OF AN A. B. DICK MODEL 324 TABLE TOP OFFSET
IN THE AMOUNT OF $800.00, MAKING A NET PRICE OF $3,000.00, AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of A. B. Dick Pro-
ducts for sale to the City of Paducah of an A. B. Dick Model 350 Reconditioned Offset
Press for the net cost of $3,000, said bid being in substantial compliance with the
bid quotations received by the Parks and Recreation Department, dated April 18, 1979.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with A. B. Dick Products for sale to the City of the offset press
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications and bid quotations
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said offset press shall be charged
to General Fund Account No. 5103.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put
upon its final passage; and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days
thereafter.
