HomeMy WebLinkAbout79-4-1710158 ORDINANCE NO. 79-4-1710 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING' THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON BLOOM AVENUE IN LITTLEVILLE, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE 1976 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF fTHE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on April 5, 1979, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON BLOOM AVENUE 'IN LITTLEVILLE", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agree- ment with the comprehensive plan of the YCity of Paducah. SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-4, High Density Residential Zone to M-2, Heavy Industrial Zone: Beginning at a point in the centerline of Bloom Avenue, which point is 225 feet south of the intersection of the centerline of Bloom Avenue and the centerline of Paxton Street; thence in a southerly direction and with the centerline of Bloom Avenue 130 feet; thence in an easterly direction and with the line separating -the, lands of Richard Warren from the lands of Nancy Knighten 198.25 feet to the centerline of an alley; thence in a northerly direction and with- the .-centerline of said alley 130 feet; thence at right angles and in a westerly direction, with the line separating -the lands of .Nancy -Knighten from the lands of P. G. Peck 198.25 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs, and provisions. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after- the date of its. adoption.
