_.r. ORDINANCE NO 79-3-1709
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
CONTRACT WITH KENTUCKY MACHINERY, INC. TO MAKE THE NECESSARY REPAIRS
ON THE HD 16M LANDFILL TRACTOR, FOR AN ESTIMATED COST OF $5,000.00
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah's HD16M Landfill Tractor is in need of
immediate repairs in order to maintain the City's landfill, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager deemed it necessary to immediately authorize
the aforesaid repairs without formal solicitation of bids, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners does approve and ratify such
action,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH , KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the
City
Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized and
directed to enter into a
contract
with
Kentucky Machinery, Inc . , for
the necessary
repairs to the HD16M Landfill Tractor, for an estimated cost of $5,000.00.
SECTION 2. The purchase price for said repairs shall be charged to
Federal Revenue Sharing' Account No. 3514.
SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one
week in the completed form, in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and
if adopted shall be in full force and" effect -immediately thereafter..
