CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF -THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: - SECTION 1. -That the offer of Les Walker and .wife, Phyllis Walker,. in the amount of " $700:00 to" purchase the ' interest of the City in -.,.the "following des- cribed land in said City be accepted, said land being described as follows: Lots 37 and, 38 'in Block 31, Armstrong's Mechanicsburg Addition, Plat in Deed Book "T", page 544. Each lot 40 feet by 125 feet on west side of Woodward Street be- tween Meyers Street and Yeiser Street, and as shown on page 22 --of Block Map -Book 6 in the office of the City Engineer. See Deed Book 268, page 495 and Deed Book 324, page 17. Being the same land (Linda D. Bolen) conveyed to the City of Paducah on March 15, 1972, by Benjamin C. LeRoy, Treasurer, by deed of record in Deed Book 538, page 280, in the McCracken County Court Clerk's Office. SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $700.00 (plus $6.00 for recording fee to be paid by the City) to the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Les Walker and wife, Phyllis Walker, all of the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof and that said deed of conveyance shall be quit- claim only, shall contain no warranty as to title and shall be subject to any state of facts as might be shown by an accurate survey. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its acoption .
