AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF EVERETT E. SINCLAIR , 403
SOUTH 21ST STREET, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY IN PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 625 PARK AVENUE, FOR THE SUM OF $800.00, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the offer of Everett E.
Sinclair, - "in the
amount
of $800.00 ,
to purchase the interest
of the City in the following
described land
in said
City
be accepted, said land being described as follows:
Being the property at 625 Park Avenue fronting 36.5
feet thereon and running .back 1.60 feet .in depth and
as shown on page 18 of Block Map Book No. 3 in the
office. of . the City Engineer.
.Being the same land- (Ernest Gary and Millie Gary)
conveyed to the City of Paducah on January 26, 1972,
by Benjamin C. LeRoy, Treasurer, by deed of _record
in Deed Book 536, page 488, in the McCracken County
Court Clerk's .. Office. - -
SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $800•.00 (plus $6.00 for
recording fee to be paid by the City) to the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Everett E. Sinclair, all
of the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1
hereof and that said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no
warranty as to title and shall be subject to any state of facts as might be shown
by an accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
