AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WILSON CHEVROLET-CADILLAC,
INC., FOR SALE
TO THE CITY
OF A 1979 FLEETSIDE
PICKUP TRUCK
TO BE USED
BY THE STREET
DEPARTMENT,
IN THE NET AMOUNT
OF $4,975.00,
AND AUTHORIZ-
ING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Wilson Chevrolet -
Cadillac, Inc. , for sale to the City of a 1979 Fleetside Pickup truck to be used
by the Street Department, in the net amount of $4.975.00, said bid being in
substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as
was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on Janu-
ary 23, 19'79, -and as contained in' the bid of Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc.,
dated February 4, 1979.
SECTION 2. That the "City Manager be, and he is "hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc . , authorized in Section 1
above according to the specifications bid "proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3 . The" "purchase -price for said pickup truck shall be charged
to Federal' Revenue Sharing Account ' No . 3414'.
SECTION 4. Thi's ordinance shall" be introduced and remain on file for
one week for' public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put
upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10)
days thereafter.
