HomeMy WebLinkAbout79-2-168255 ORDINANCE NO. 79-2-1682 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MIDWEST FIRE AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT COMPANY, INC., FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE HURST MODEL 32A "JAWS -OF -LIFE" EQUIPMENT, FOR THE SUM OF $5,768.10, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Midwest Fire and Safety Equipment Company, Inc., for sale to the City of a Hurst Model 32A "Jaws -of -Life" equipment, for the sum of $5,768.10, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on January 9, _ 1979, and as contained in the bid of Midwest Fire and Safety Equipment, Company, Inc., dated January 17, 1979. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Midwest Fire and Safety Equipment Company, Inc . , for the purchase of the equipment authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. The purchase for said equipment shall be charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Fund Account No. 2214. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put up- on its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
