ORDINANCE ACCEPTING
THE BID
OF PETTER SUPPLY
COMPANY
FOR
SALE TO THE
CITY OF 2000 FEET OF
21 -INCH
FIRE KING 600 HOSE
AND 2000
FEET
OF 12 -INCH KING 600 FIRE HOSE, FOR A TOTAL SUM OF $5,780.00, AND AUTHOR-
IZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Petter Supply
Company for sale to the City of 2000 feet of 22 -inch Goodrich Fire King 600 hose,
and 2000 feet of 12 -inch Goodrich Fire King 600 hose with NST couplings, for the
sum of $5,780.00, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications
and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of

Commissioners on December 12,'-1978, and as contained in the b d'bf Petter Supply
Company, dated December 27, 1978.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and -he is hereby authorized
to execute a contract with Petter Supply Company' -for sale to the City of the equip-
ment authorized in Section 1 above, according to the . specifications, bid proposal
and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said equipment shall be charged to
Federal -Revenue Sharing Account No. 2214.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week - for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be 'put
upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10)
days thereafter.
