FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF A NEW FIAT-ALLIS FL14C CRAWLER FRONT END LOADER TO BE USED BY THE REFUSE DEPARTMENT, FOR A SUM NOT TO EXCEED $68,800.00, LESS MONTHLY RENTAL CREDITS, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO TRADE IN AN INTERNATIONAL 250C FRONT END LOADER AND TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURPOSE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Kentucky Machinery, Inc. for sale to the City of a new Fiat -Allis FL14C Crawler Front End Loader to be used by the Refuse Department, for the sum of $79,300.00 less $10,500.00 as trade in of an International 250C front end loader and less monthly rental credit in the amount of $2,501.55 for each paid monthly rental; said bid being in sub- stantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on October 24, 1978, and as contained in the bid of Kentucky Machinery, Inc., dated November, 2, 1978. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Kentucky Machinery, Inc. for sale to the City of the equipment authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid pro- posal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. The purchase price for said equipment shall be charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No.* 3514. SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
