ORDINANCE NO. 83-12-2454
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF RADIO EQUIPMENT FROM MOTOROLA
COMMUNICATIONS AND ELECTRONICS, INC., TO BE USED BY THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPART-
MENT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized to enter into a. contract with
Motorola Communications and Electronics, Inc., for the purchase of radio equip-
ment to be used by the Paducah Police Department, for the sum of $5,500.00.
SECTION 2. Account No. 10-500-210-523 shall be charged with the
aforesaid expenditure.
SECTION 3. Since Motorola Communications and Electronics, Inc. is the
only authorized dealer who can furnish this material, competitive bidding has
been waived; and this ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
