Munal, Ji Housing Commissior 235 Board of Commissioners City of July 27, :1971 At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on July 27, 1971, Mayor Cherry presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Fisher, Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (5). Mayor Cherry offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fisher, that the reading of the Minutes for July 13, 1971 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fisher, Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (5). Mayor Cherry made the following appointments: Mrs. Dorothy Toy, Russell Mills, Rev. Luther Williams and Byron R. McGill having resigned as members of the Advisory Committee on Aging, I hereby, subject to the approval of the Board of Commissioners, appoint Mrs. W. G. Lowe, Mrs. Schultz Riggs, Mrs. Agnes Bohanan and Bob Kirksey to fill said vacancies, so that the members of said Committee and their terms of office shall be as follows: Mrs. Perce Clement whise term expires December 1, 1971 Carl Marquess whose term expires December 1, 1971 H. W. Sledd whose term expires December 1, 1971 Mrs. A. G. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fisher, Harvey, Hornsvy, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (5). Commissioner Fisher offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that the Board of Commissioners approve the sale by the City of Paducah to Mrs. Mary Jackson of the southwest corner of Lot No. 39 in Block No. 6 of the Rushing Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery, and that the City Clerk be authorized to execute a deed of conveyance to said cemetery grave. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fisher, Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (5). Commissioner Fisher offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that the executed copy of the Contract between the City of Paducah and Wilson Chevrolet - Cadillac, Inc. for sale to the City of a new 1971 Biscayne Chevrolet 4 -door automobile for use in the Inspection Department, be received and filed. Adopted -on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fisher, Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (5). Commissioner Fisher offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that the executed copy of the Contract between the City and Allan Rhodes, Inc. for sale to the City of a three-quarter ton pickup truck for use by the Engineering Department, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fisher, Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (5). Commissioner Fisher offered motion,. seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the executed copy of the contract between the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and Community, Program Consultants, Inc. for -engineering services regarding the Mechanicsburg Concentrated Code Enforcement Program, Project No. KY. E-2, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fisher, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (4), Commissioner Harvey voted "No". Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner, risher, that the executed copy of the Clontract between the City and Bobby Butler Concrete Contractor for maintenance and construction of concrete sidewalks, driveways, curbs and gutters in the City of Paducah, be received and filed.
