AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PADUCAH FORD INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $9,907.00
EACH, FOR SALE �1TQ!,THE.'CITY. O.F EIGHT (8) 1984 FOUR -DOOR AUTOMOBILES FOR USE BY THE PADUCAH
POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT`ORDAFNED.BY'THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Paducah Ford Inc., in the
amount of $9,907:00 each for sale to the City of eight 1984 Crown Victoria S 4 -Door auto-
mobiles, for use',by the Paducah Police Department, said bid being in substantial compliance
with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order
passed by the Board of Commissioners on September 13, 1983, and as contained in the bid of
Paducah Ford Inc., dated September 23, 1983.
SECTION.2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Paducah Ford
Inc., for sale to the City of the Crown Victoria S automobiles authorized in Section 1
above, according>to the -specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore
approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION: 3:. The.. -purchase price for said automobiles shall be charged to Account
Number 10-500-210-514: -
SECTION- 4-:- This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be ef-
fective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
