L ,.- AN ORDINANCE' AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY TREASURER TO PAY TO KENTUCKY
.:'REMIREMENT SYSTEMS, THE SUM OF $7,376.69, FOR PENSION CREDITS FROM AUGUST, 1968 UNTIL
1975 ' ",
WHEREAS, Nettie Walls was employed in August, 1968 as executive director of
the Oaklawn Neighborhood Improvement Program, and
WHEREAS, Nettie Walls was employed in 1971 as executive director of the
. Mechanicsburg Code Enforcement Project which replaced the Oaklawn Neighborhood Im-
provement Program, and
WHEREAS, in July, 1975, the city agreed to purchase past service credits for
retirement benefits for city employees, and
WHEREAS, Nettie Walls was excluded from the purchase of past service credits
at.that time, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners now finds that Nettie Walls should have
been included in the employees whose past service credits were purchased.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: .
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Treasurer be authorized to pay to
Kentucky Retirement Systems, the sum of $7,376.69, as pension credits from August,
1968 until 1975 on behalf of Nettie Walls.
SECTION 2. Said pension sum shall be charged to Account No. 10-500-180-101.
SECTION 3.. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
