Commonwealth of Kentucky, Department for Local Government, for funds to be used
for further -development, -,of Stuart Nelson -Park, and
WHEREAS,,,gn March 20, 1980. .said- application was approved, -for ' com-
pletion on or before September 30, 1983,-_
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY -OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: -
SECTION 1- That the City Manager,be authorized to pay Paducah Power
System for the purchase and installation of poles and transformers in Stuart
Nelson Park, for the sum of $7,970.50.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No.
10-500-610-525. - .J:: - - _
SECTION 3. Due to the fact ,that the City of Paducah must make
immediate payment in order to qualify for -reimbursement under this grant by
September 30, 1983, an emergency is decla-red to_ - exist and this ordinance shall
become effective,,*Aedi4tely upon passage.after-one--reading.
