ORDINANCE NO. 83-9-2427
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF PADUCAH TO APPROVE PAYMENT OF UP TO
$2,155.00 FOR THE PURCHASE OF IBM EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah is applying for a PADD grant in the amount of
$16,500.00 to purchase an IBM printer and IBM cash register, and
WHEREAS, an authorized additional amount of $2,155.00 is needed for this pur-
chase prior to the grant application being filed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah be authorized to approve payment of up to
$2,155.00 for the purchase of an IBM 5225 Printer and Model A71 cash register contingent
upon the City receiving a PADD grant of at least $16,500.00.
SECTION 2. The purchase price for said printer and cash register shall be
charged to Account No. 10-500-120-503.
SECTION 3. In order to expedite the filing of the grant application an emer-
gency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
upon its passage at one reading.
