AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES HONDA - CHRYSLER, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $8,977.40, FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE NEW 1984 DODGE DIPLOMAT, FOR USE BY
THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH
PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan Rhodes Honda
- Chrysler in the amount of $8,977.40 for one new 1984 Dodge Diplomat, -for use by
the Fire Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid speci-
fications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed by
the Board of Commissioners on August 9, 1983, and as contained in the bid of Allan
Rhodes Honda - Chrysler, dated August 17, 1983.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Allan
Rhodes Honda - Chrysler, for sale to the City of the 1984 Dodge Diplomat authorized
in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said automobile shall be charged to
Federal Revenue Sharing Account Number 20-500-220-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of -title and a certified summary thereof,.
