ORDINANCE NO. 83-8-2422
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PADUCAH FORD INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF
$7,454.00, FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE F-150 PICKUP TRUCK FOR USE BY THE
CEMETERY DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH
PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.o That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Paducah Ford
Inc., in the amount of $7,454.00 for sale to the City of one F-150 Pickup Truck,
for use by the Cemetery Department, said bid being in substantial compliance
with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by
Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on July 26, 1983, and as
contained in the bid of Paducah Ford Inc., dated August 5, 1983.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with
Paducah Ford Inc., for sale to the City of the pickup truck authorized in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said pickup truck shall be charged
to Account Number 10-500-430-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
