AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION, PRO-
VIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF PORTIONS OF HIGH STREET, SHERWOOD ROAD AND HEDGE LANE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF;PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah does hereby authorize the closing of
portions of High Street, Sherwood Road and Hedge_Lane which are more particularly
described as follows:
HEDGE LANE
Beginning at a point in the South right of way of Sherwood Road, said
point being located West of Hedge Lane centerline a distance of 45.00
feet; thence in an Easterly direction along the South right of way of
Sherwood Road a distance of 90.00 feet to a point; thence along an arc
to the left a distance of 31;42 feet to a point, said point being
located in the East right of way of Hedge Lane;' thence in a Southerly
direction a distance of 29.61 feet to a point; thence along an arc to
the left a distance of 52.36 feet to a point, said point being located
in the West right of way of Hedge Lane; thence in a Northerly di-
rection a distance of 29.61 feet to a point; thence along an arc to
the left a distance of 31.42 feet to.the point of beginning.
SHERWOOD ROAD
Beginning at a point in the North right of way of Sherwood Road, said
point being located East of High Street centerline a distance of
125.00 feet; thence along said right of way in an Easterly direction a
distance of 745.18 feet to a point; thence along an arc to the right a
distance of 94.74 feet to a point; thence in an Easterly direction a
distance of 25.10 feet to a point; thence along an arc to the left a
distance of 32.34 feet to A point, said point being located in the
West right of way of Allen Lane; thence along the right of way of
Allen Lane in a Southerly direction a distance of 92.34 feet to a
point; thence along an arc to the left a distance of 32.97 feet to a
point, said point being located in the South right of way of Sherwood
Road; thence along said right of way in a'Westerly direction a dis-
tance of 22.04 feet to a point; thence along an arc to the left a
distance of 74.10 feet to a point; thence in a Westerly direction a
distance of 735.18 feet to a point, said point being located East of
High Street centerline a distance of 135.00 feet; thence in a North-
erly direction a distance of 25.00 feet to a point, said point being
located in the centerline of Sherwood Road; thence in a Westerly
direction along said centerline a distance of 10.00 feet to a point;
thence in a Northerly direction a distance of 25.00 feet to the point
of beginning.
HIGH STREET
Beginning at a point in the North right of way of Sherwood Road, said
point being located West of High Street centerline a distance of 45.00
feet; thence along an arc to the left a distance of 31.42 feet to a
point, said point being located in the West right of way of High
Street; thence along said right of way in a Northerly direction a
distance of 103.49 feet to a point; thence along an arc to the right a
distance of 56.00 feet to a point; thence in an Easterly direction a
distance of 51.98 feet to a point, said point being located in the
East right of way of High Street; thence in a Southerly direction
along said right of way along an arc to the left a distance of 49.11
feet to a point; thence in a Southerly direction along said right of
way a distance of 103.49 feet to a point; thence along an arc to the
left a distance of 31.42 feet to a point in the North right of way of
Sherwood Road, said point being located 45.00 feet East of High Street
centerline; thence in a Westerly direction a distance of 90.00 feet to
the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be,
and he is hereby, authorized, empowered and directed to institute and prosecute, pursuant
to KRS 82.405, an action in McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment ordering the closing of
the streets described in Section 1 above.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
