ORDINANCE NO. 83-8-2418
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF HANNAN SUPPLY COMPANY FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF
TWENTY-SIX FLOODLIGHTS AND CROSSARMS FOR USE BY THE PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Hannan Supply Company, in
the amount of $5,244.20 with a discount of two percent (2%) if paid on or before the 10th,
for Twenty-six (26) Floodlights and Crossarms as needed for the following amounts:
TCA -W2, two floodlights in the ;amount of $63.50 each; TCA -W3, three floodlights in the
amount of $107.75 each; and TCA -W4, four floodlights in the amount of $121.25 each, to be
used by the Parks and Recreation Department; said bid being in substantial compliance with
the bid specifications and advertisement forbids as was authorized by Municipal Order
passed by the Board of Commissioners on July 12, 1983, and as contained in the bid of
Hannan Supply Company, dated July 22, 1983.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Hannan Supply
Company, for sale to the City of the lighting equipment authorized in Section 1 above,
according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore ap-
proved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase. price for said light bulbs shall be charged to Account
No. 10-500-610-525.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be ef-
fective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
