ORDINANCE NO. 83-6-2398
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY TREASURER TO PAY NATIONAL
UTILITY COMPANY THE SUM OF $3,919.75, FOR FIFTY (50)'ADJUS-TO-GRADE CASTINGS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Treasurer be authorized to pay
National Utility Company the sum of $3,919.75, for fifty (50) Adjus-to-grade
castings to be used by the Street Department.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No.
10-500-340-354.
SECTION 3. Since National Utility is the only authorized dealer who
can furnish this material competitive bidding has been waived. Since this
materials has been received by the City and National Utility Company's invoice
is now due, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect upon its passage at one reading.
