HomeMy WebLinkAbout82-12-2341I.I ORDINANCE NO. 82-12- 2341 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF TODD CORPORATION FOR FURNISHING THE CITY OF PADUCAH WITH UNIFORMS FOR EMPLOYEES IN VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of TODD COR- PORATION for furnishing the City with uniforms for employees in the various departments, said bid having unit prices of $G.41 each for shirts, $0.41 each for pants and $0:.82 each for coveralls, hanger service furnished at no ad- ditional charge with a minimum charge of $180.00 per week and for a term of two (2) years; said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on October 12, 1982, and as contained in the bid of Todd Corporation dated December 10, 1982. SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Todd Corporation for furnishing the City with uniforms as authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract docu- ments heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. The payment for said uniform service shall be charged to the Uniform account number of the departments using such service. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof. JOHN K.
