ORDINANCE NO. 82-11-2330
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE LEASE -PURCHASE PLAN-OF-WHAYNE SUPPLY COMPANY FOR
THE LEASE -PURCHASE OF A NEW CATERP-ILLAR 977L TRACK LOADER FOR -USE ON THE LANDFILL
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Whayne Supply
Company, for the lease -purchase of a Caterpillar 977L Track Loader to be used by the
Refuse Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid speci-
fications and advertisement -for bids as was,authorized by Municipal Order passed by
the Board of Commissioners on September 28, 1982, and as contained in the bid of
Whayne Supply Company, dated October 19, 1982.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Whayne
Supply Company, for the lease -purchase of a Track Loader to be used by the Refuse
Department on the landfill, under the following terms and conditions: The sum of
$3,934.00 per month for rental -purchase of said tractor with a total purchase price
not to exceed $141,624.00; and,.according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said Tractor shall be charged to Account
Number 20-500-420-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
