ORDINANCE NO. 82-I1-2326
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE PADUCAH WATER WORKS
AND LONE OAK WATER DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Commissioners of Water Works have negotiated a ten
(10) year contract with Lone Oak Water District, and
WHEREAS, said water rate establishes a rate of $1.14 per 1,000
gallons to said District for a period of one year, after which time said rate
may be adjusted, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution dated the 18th day of October, 1982, the
Commissioners of Water Works requested the City of Paducah to approve said
contract between the Paducah Water Works and the Lone Oak Water District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah approve the terms and con-
ditions of the contract between the Commissioners of Water Works and Lone Oak
Water District, and that the Mayor acknowledge on behalf of the City of
Paducah that the Board of Commissioners has approved the terms and conditions
of the contract; said contract is attached hereto and made a part hereof, as
if fully set out herein.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will be effective upon publication in full.
