HomeMy WebLinkAbout82-11-2325456 ORDINANCE NO. 82-11-2325 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH TODD UNIFORM, EXTENDING THE CITY'S CONTRACT FOR UNIFORM SERVICE FOR VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS WHEREAS, on November 11, 1980 the City entered into a contract with Todd Uniform for supplying the City's requirements of uniforms for employees in various departments, and WHEREAS, said contract with Todd Uniform will expire on November 14, 1982; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized to enter into a contract with Todd Uniform, extending the present contract for supplying the City's requirement of uniforms for employees in various departments, through December 31,'1982. SECTION 2. Payment for said uniforms service shall be charged to the Uniform account number of the departments using such service. SECTION 3. Since the present contract will expire on November 14, 1982, and additional time is needed to make a decision on a new contract, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage with one reading.
