AN., -ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR _TO EXECUTE_ AN. AGREEMENT WITH
GROWTH, INC..
WHEREAS, the City of.Paducah is the recipient of a,Commonwealth Small
Cities Community Development Block Grant, and
WHEREAS_,_the City of..Paducah plans to use these funds to promote the
economic development of..the..community-,,and
WHEREAS,_the-City.of.Paducah recognizes the expertise, dedication and
strengths of Growth as a non-profit organization £ormed.to promote the economic
development,of the City.o€.Paducah, and
. WHEREAS, ,the, City, o£ Paducah -desires to have (growth:, Inc., a non-
profit corporation, receive._.the loan repayments and administer the returned:
funds, plus interest, in a manner consistent with the purpose of the CDBG
program...
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized to execute an Agreement with
Growth, Inc.; said agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof, as if
fully set out herein..
SECTION 2, This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will be effective upon publication of a certified summary thereof.
