ORDINANCE NO. 82-10-2318
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID'OF KAVCO,"INC.,:SUBJECT TO THE
APPROVAL OF -THE CABLE AUTHORITY; FOR SALE TO'THE.-CITY OF CABLE TV EQUIPMENT
FOR USE BY THE -GOVERNMENTAL ACCESS -Cf-iANNEL,11, FOR -'THE- SUM OF $4,976.56, AND.
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT `FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE- IT -ORDAINED W THE CITY OF PADUCAH;-KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, subj ect-to the approval of the
Cable Authority, -accept -the bid of Kaveos Inc.,'for-sale to the -City of a
Knox K-128 Video Character Generator, an IPO -16,-16 Page Memory and"an
RC-128TS, Roll $ Crawl, for -use `by "GoverninentaI--Channel ' 11," for the sum of
$4,976.56;"• -said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifi-
cations and advertisement for bids as was authorised by Municipal Order passed
by the Board, -of -Commissioners on September 14, 1982, and as contained in the
bid of Kavco, Inc. -on September 23, 1982.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be -authorized to -execute -a contract with
Kavco, Inc., for sale to the City of the Cable TV equipment authorized'in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all con-
tract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said TV equipment shall be
charged to Account No. 10-500-980-514 for the amount of $3,107.81, and the
balance of $1,868.75 shall be charged to Account No. 10-500-990-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
