ORDINANCE NO. 82-10- 2313
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF AN ALLEY LOCATED BETWEEN
JEFFERSON AND MONROE STREETS, WEST OF NORTH 25TH STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah does hereby authorize the closing of
an alley located between Jefferson and Monroe Streets, west of North 25th Street, and
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the west right-of-way line of 25th
Street,and'the.-,south-right=of=way line of --an existing 25.5 --foot
alley, said point also being 152 feet north of the intersection of
the%north right-of;way�l:ine of Jefferson Street and the west. right-
of-way of 25th Street; thence in a westerly direction along said
alley;.5outh right-'of-way.line a_distance of-140:.feet to a point;
thence in a northerly direction along said alley west boundary line
a distance of 25.5 feet to a point in the_north.right-of=-way_line of
said alley; thence in an easterly direction along said alley north
right-ofiway_aline.a distance. -of 140 feet -to a -.point in the west.
right-of-way line of 25th Street; thence in a southerly direction
along the west -right -of -way, -line of 25th Street a distance of 25.5
feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
be, and he is hereby, authorized, empowered and directed to institute and prosecute,
pursuant to KRS 82.405, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment
ordering the closing of the alley described in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
