ORDINANCE NO. 82-10-2311
AN ORD'INANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES FORD & HONDA FOR SALE TO THE
CITY OF FOUR CROWN -VICTORIA S 4-DOOR'AUTOMOBILES FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT,'
AND AUTHORIZING,THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan Rhodes Ford &
Honda, for sale to the' -City of four Crown Victoria S 4 -door automobiles for use by
the Police Department, three to be used by the Patrol Division and one to be used by
the Detective Division, for the sum of $9,061.00 each or a total of $36,244.00; said
bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for
bids as was authorized by a Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners_on
August 24, 1982, and as contained in the bid of Allan Rhodes Ford & Honda, dated
September 16, 1982.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Allan
Rhodes Ford $ Honda for the automobiles authorized in Section 1 above, according to
the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said automobile shall be charged to
Account No. 20-500-210-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read -on two separate days and will.be
effective upon publication of title anda certified -summary thereof.
