HomeMy WebLinkAbout82-10-2308434 ORDINANCE NO. 82-10-2308 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF PAUL DUNCAN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF SOFFITS AT THE END SECTIONS OF THE MARKET HOUSE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the proposal of Paul Duncan Construction Company for removal and replacement of soffits at the end sections of the Market House, for the sum of $12,300.00; said proposal being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for proposals as was author- ized by Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on September 14, 1982, and as contained in the proposal of Paul Duncan Construction Company, dated Sept- ember 24, 1982. SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Paul Duncan Construction Company for removal and replacement of the soffits at the end sections of the Market House authorized in Section 1 above, according to the speci- fications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incor- porated in the proposal. SECTION 3. The purchase price for said soffit removal and replacement shall be charged to Account No. 20-500-620-439. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective upon publication of title and a certified.summary thereof. JOHN K.
