ORDINANCE NO. 82-10-2305
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES FORD & HONDA, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $23,497.00, FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE NEW 1983 DUMP TRUCK FOR USE BY THE STREET
DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan Rhodes Ford F
Honda, in the amount of $23,497.00, for sale to the City of a 1983 dump truck to be
used by the Street Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisement for as was authorized by Municipal Order passed
by the Board of Commissioners on August 24, 1982, and as contained in the bid of
Allan Rhodes Ford and Honda, dated September 16, 1982.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Allan
Rhodes Ford and Honda for sale to the City of the dump truck authorized in Section 1
above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said truck shall be charged to
Account No. 20-500-330-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of.title and a certified summary thereof.
