ORDINANCE NO.. 82-9-2301 -
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7-30 OF CHAPTER 7, BUILDINGS AND
BUILDING REGULATIONS OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE.CITY OF PADUCAH,..
KENTUCKY
WHEREAS, the Electrical Inspection Appeals Board has recommended
that certain changes be made -in Section -7-3Q,, and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky desires to,.make said changes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION.1.._That section 7-30 of Chapter.7 of the Code of
Ordinances, of the City -of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended. and reordained so
that said section -as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows:
"Sec. 7-30. Metallic tubing or rigid conduit required in -business
buildings and with fire limits.
All. wiring shall be installed in electrical metallic tubing or
rigid conduit in the inner (an4-este-r) fire limits of the city (and.-In-e.il.
basixess.-buildings;) provided, however, such tubing and conduit shall not be
required.i£_the building and electrical inspector finds that other (types-ef
tubing-and-eenduit)wiring methods would not create a hazard and authorizes
the use of such other (--------------------- wiring methods in writing."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
