ORDINANCE NO.82-9-2300
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF HENRY A. PETTER SUPPLY COMPANY, FOR SALE
TO THE CITY OF FIRE HOSE TO BE USED BY THE PADUCAH FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Henry A. Petter
Supply Company, for sale to the City of 1,000 feet of BFG 21 -2 -inch Fire King 600 Fire
Hose, for the sum of $2,006.84; and 1,000 feet of 12 -inch BFG Fire King 600 Fire
Hose, for the sum of $1,260.00, for use by the Fire Department, said bid being in
substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was
authorized by Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on August 10,
1982, and as contained in the bid of Henry A. Petter Supply Company, dated
August 23, 1982.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Henry
A. Petter Supply Company, for sale to the City of the fire hose authorized in Section
1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said hose shall be charged to Account
Number 10-500-220-312.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
