ORDINANCE NO. 82-9-2291
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING,THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A LEASE WITH
M. B. f G., INC., FOR DOCKING SPACE TO BE USED BY AN EXCURSION BOAT AT THE
FOOT OF BROADWAY
WHEREAS, M. B. & G. Inc. needs docking facilities at the foot of
Broadway for an excursion boat, and
WHEREAS, the City desires to make said excursions possible for its
citizens, and
WHEREAS, all costs of docking and related= facilities shall be borne
by M. B. & G. Inc. -
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED,,BY THE -CITY OF°'PADUCAH, KENTUCKY-
SECTION"1. The Mayor is: authorized to enter into a Lease with -
M. B. & G. Inc.,=to u.se a portion of the riverfront property for docking
facilities for an excursion boat, for a period of one year with M. B. &'G';
Inc. having an option to renew the lease for four'(4) successive periods of
one year each, at the same terms and conditions as the original lease, for
the sum of $1,000.00 per year for the first year of the lease and the first
and second option periods, and the parties shall mutually agree to the per
annual rental for the third and fourth option years when said option is
exercised; said property more particularly described as follows:
Beginning 25 feet from the west edge of the concrete walkway
at the foot of Broadway and running for a distance of 150 feet
in a southwesterly direction toward Jefferson along the
waterfront and extending to the riverside of the floodwall.
SECTION 2. A copy of said Lease is attached hereto and incor-
porated herein as if set out in full therein.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
