ORDINANCE NO. 82-8-2287
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MANNING EQUIPMENT, INC., FOR SALE TO THE
CITY OF A I-IEIL FORMULA 8000 33 -CUBIC YARD FRONT LOADING PACKER FOR USE BY THE REFUSE
DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Manning Equipment,
Inc., for sale to the City of a Heil Formula 8000 33 -cubic yard front loading packer,
for the sum of $28,920.00, for use by'the Refuse Department, said bid being in
substantial compliance withthe"bid-specifications and advertisement for bids as was
authorized by Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners,on June 22, 1982,
and as contained h'the -bid of'ManrniAj_Equipmerif, Inc., dated July 9, 1982.
SECTION 2. That the'Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Manning
Equipment, Inc., for sale to, the City of the front end loading packer authorized in
Section 1 above,'according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3.The purchase price for said packer shall be charged to Federal
Revenue Sharing Account No. Z0-500-420-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
