ORDINANCE NO. 82-8-2283
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT, NOT TO EXCEED $4,200.00, TO
KENTUCKY MACHINERY., INC., FOR REPAIRS TO A 1974 GRADEALL FOR THE STREET
DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the 1974 Gradeall, used by the Street Department, has need
of a new pump and valve, and
WHEREAS, it -is necessary that this equipment be repaired promptly,.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. --That theMayorand City -Treasurer be authorized to pay
to Kentucky Machinery, Inc.., a sum not to exceed $4,200.00 for repairs to the
1974 Gradeall used by the Street Department.
SECTION 2. That Account No. 10=500-440-309 shall be charged with
the aforesaid expenditure.
SECTION 3. Due to the necessity of repairing the Gradeall as soon
as possible, -an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect upon one reading..
